PRACTICE NEWS May 2008: Projects: Work continues on the prestigious and large redevelopment at St Marys Road Market Harborough. Block A is well underway, and offers Affordable Housing through local Housing Association Eastern Shires H.A. Blocks E and F are also ongoing offering 1 2 and 3 bedroom apartments overlooking the River that runs throughout the centre of the lovely market town of Market Harborough. Other major projects continue in Bristol, Bedford, Lincoln and Norwich. JS+P Exchange: We are also pleased to announce the addition of JS+P Exchange to our "family". This system is an Information Exchange system that adds value to our client offer, and allows a free, swift, easy, secure and fully audited exchange of information between those involved in projects with us. Staff: We are pleased to welcome Rachel Pendred and Alex Field to our teams over the coming few months. Both Rachel and Alex are at DMU studying Architectural Technology, and will be joining us for their year out placement. We look forward to their input and enthusiasm and are sure they will further strengthen our team structure. Kanti is now President of the Leicestershire and Rutland Society of Architects for a two year term. He aims to be a proactive enthuisastic and innovative President, and is looking to promote Architecture through the LRSA during his term - read his inaugural speech here! Nicola Pettman has recently successfully qualified as a CSH Assessor (Code for Sustainable Homes). This enhances her existing qualifications in sustainability and further strengthens our in house services that we are able to offer. Nicola has also been promoted to Team Leader and will ably manage and control projects herself . We remain keen as always to meet with proactive and progressive Architects and Technologists and those on the road to becoming them!
